COMPONENTES DE ENSINO DE INGLÊS EM PLANOS DE AULA DO CURSO CELTA
Abstract
This work is a snippet from dissertation research, in which we investigate the teaching planning within a context of initial foreign language (FL) teacher training. The CELTA course has a distinctive characterization from the traditional academic teaching education, regarding duration and international reach. To answer the question: Which aspects related to FL teaching are approached in lesson plan making by the CELTA course teachers?, we will identify the nature of these teaching aspects and its frequency in the analyzed corpus. The selected corpus to this work is formed by twenty-six lesson plan made by five teachers in the CELTA course in April 2019. The analysis is based on studies about teacher education, FL teaching methodologies and planning. The partial results indicate that the teaching aspects of the lesson plans tend to prioritize formal aspects, such as grammar and language skills.
