OS PELOTÕES DE SAÚDE DE SANTA CATARINA E OS IMPRESSOS NA LUTA CONTRA A “INCIVILIDADE”
Abstract
This study makes a foray into the history of education in the state of Santa Catarina from 1941 to 1953. It deals specifically with the hygienic practices of the health platoons, which were school associations implemented within the state schools and had a welfare character. During the studied course, some practices were associated to the medical discourse to compose its field of action against the "incivility" that covered the country. Among these practices, health platoons kept allied as printed, school newspapers, illustrations among others to legitimize their field of action. Such practices have been configured as important hygienist strategies in children's literacy, to a certain extent, have learned a new language based on scientific discourse.
