THE WORK WITH THE ORAL GENRES IN TEACHING THE PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE
Abstract
Situated in the inter/transdisciplinary field of Applied Linguistics (AL), this text proposes to discuss the work with discourse genres, in the oral modality, and the training of Portuguese language teachers for a pedagogical practice that involves them. In this perspective, we began with a discussion about some notes about teacher education, with emphasis on the training of the Portuguese language teacher, followed by studies referring to the notion of dialogism and discourse genres, taking such views to work with oral genres in classroom. After this, we present two proposals for the use of oral genres in Portuguese language teaching in school literacy practices, focusing on linguistic diversity and the practice of reflective reading through written texts.
