"GENDER IDEOLOGY": A CRITICAL-REFLECTIVE READING OF PROVISIONAL MUNICIPAL LAW 2.243 OF 2016.
Abstract
On 14 March 2016 the provisional measure (MP) of N º 6 was approved, which became Municipal Law No. 2,243, approved in 23/03/2016. Probing any discussion on gender or related topics, in the municipal schools of Palmas in the state of Tocantins, in addition to predict the cancellation of the distribution of school materials produced by the Ministry of Education and Culture on the subject. The law was passed with the main claim to gender ideology that points gender and sexuality as something without distinction. Faced with this reality, report research that sought to launch a deconstructivist vision on the subject, from a critical-reflective reading of the MP and the law, mentioned earlier. We believe that both have served the purpose of strengthening a series of ideologies and prejudices, in relation to the woman and the LGBT + community, long defended by a significant portion of the Brazilian population.
