RESILIÊNCIA BASEADA EM PRÁTICAS DE GESTÃO EM INSTITUIÇÕES DE EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR EM UMA ECONOMIA EMERGENTE
Resumen
Embora os benefícios potenciais das práticas de gestão tenham sido amplamente divulgados, pouco se sabe sobre como as práticas de gestão afetam a resiliência em Instituições de Educação Superior (IES) em economias emergentes. Neste artigo testamos uma estrutura de pesquisa capaz de capturar as relações entre as práticas de gestão e resiliência em IESs no Brasil, em um contexto de pós-pandemia SARS-CoV-2 (novo normal). Dados primários baseados em pesquisa foram coletados de gestores de IES usando um questionário do tipo escalar (Likert). As técnicas de Mineração de Dados, Correlação de Spearman e Regressão Ordinal foram aplicadas. Os cálculos foram desenvolvidos usando o software R. Os resultados de nossa pesquisa abrangem resultados esperados e inesperados e sugerem que a adoção das práticas de gestão em IES vale a pena em termos de resiliência econômica e social. Planejamento estratégico e recursos humanos são as práticas mais proeminentes. As nossas descobertas podem ser úteis para IES de economias emergentes que compartilham características semelhantes com o Brasil. Este estudo é original, preenche uma lacuna na literatura e apresenta contribuições para a teoria e para a prática: (i) serve como um guia aos gestores na formulação e implementação de práticas de gestão; (ii) avança os argumentos da literatura sobre a gestão nas IES.
