MENTAL DISORDERS IN HEALTHCARE WORKERS POST-COVID -19: A BIBLIOGRAPHICAL REVIEW
Abstract
Objective: Identify the main factors that impact the mental health of healthcare professionals after facing COVID-19. Methodology: This is an integrative review of the literature using the Scielo, Pubmed, Capes journals and Google Scholar databases, using advanced search tools, which resulted in 29 works to be analyzed in Portuguese and English. Results: After reviewing the literature and inclusion and exclusion criteria, it was observed that anxiety, depression, anguish, fear, Burnout syndrome and post-traumatic stress disorder were the most relevant symptoms reported among the nursing staff, mainly nursing technicians, with a predominance of females. Conclusion: The role played by health workers, especially those called front line, is extremely important for maintaining the health and care of the population. Therefore, it is of great importance to know, detect, monitor and treat mental disorders in the population, especially healthcare workers, and the use of telemedicine is a tool available for this.
