O PRAGMATISMO INSERIDO NO DESENVOLVIMENTO ECONÔMICO DE SINGAPURA: ANÁLISE DO DISCURSO DE HA-JOON CHANG

Abstract

Pragmatism is a side that has been developed and appropriated by several authors in several areas of knowledge. Within the field of political-economic development, the pragmatist current was emphasized and advocated by various theorists, including Ha-Joon Chang, which preserved this thinking showing Singapore as one of the best development cadres by virtue of Pragmatism. This article aims to analyze, through historical context and facts, the economic and developmental condition of Singapore and the discourse used by Ha-Joon Chang, not only to expose but also to defend its propositions through notions established by Austin and Searle.
