A MULHER NEGRA NO MAGISTÉRIO: REFLEXÕES EM TORNO DE TRAJETÓRIAS HISTÓRICAS
Abstract
The present work intends, from a perspective focused on the narratives as alternatives of investigation, to study the process of insertion of the black woman in the magisterium, paying attention to the reflections of this trajectory in the stories of women's struggle. It is not only the reflection of narratives as a pedagogical tool, but also an attempt to situate the black woman as an educator in the present context. Based on a methodology focused on the life histories of these black women, we will explore the accounts of a reality that produced a story. Some thematic axes guide and base the present work, to emphasize: the discrimination of gender and race and the teacher. In this way, discussion about the aforementioned axes becomes very important, turning them to the school environment, which implies a new professional attitude of the black educators who constantly struggle for (re) construction and (re) creation of their identity, so often characterized by social inequality and racial and gender discrimination.
