AVALIAÇÃO DO CONHECIMENTO DE ESTUDANTES DE MEDICINA ANTES E APÓS TREINAMENTO EM SUPORTE BÁSICO DE VIDA EM UMA UNIVERSIDADE DO SUDESTE DO PARÁ

Resumo
Este artigo avaliou o conhecimento de estudantes de medicina sobre Suporte Básico de Vida antes e depois de um curso teórico-prático, com aplicação de um pré e pós-teste, comparando os diferentes ciclos do curso entre si. O estudo foi realizado com 174 acadêmicos de medicina da Universidade do Estado do Pará, destes apenas 15 alunos obtiveram resultados satisfatórios sobre o conhecimento prévio sobre o assunto. Após o treinamento, os resultados melhoraram significativamente, conforme confirmado pelo teste de Wilcoxon (p < 0,001). Isso destaca a necessidade de transmitir continuamente o conhecimento do SBV para a educação médica, algo que deve ser promovido por meio de cursos e treinamentos que busquem maior retenção de conhecimento pelos estudantes, além da necessidade de mais estudos sobre essa temática.
