The BRS-Capiaçu is a tetraploid clone (2n=4x=28) of elephant grass (Pennisetum Purpureum Schum)
developed from crossing Guaco (BAGCE 60) and Roxo (BAGCE 57). It has high regrowth speed, good
digestibility and high capacity for dry mass production (50 t DM ha-1 yr-1). The objective of this study was to evaluate the production and quality of BRS Capiaçu grass irrigated with fish farming wastewater in a
recirculation system. The work was carried out in an experimental area of the Catholic University of Tocantins
(UniCatólica), in an area cultivated with BRS Capiaçu. The treatments consisted of four cutting ages (30, 40,
50 and 60 days) in an experimental design in completely randomized blocks, with four replications, totaling
16 experimental units. The productivity of total forage biomass, leaf blade, stems and the participation of these components via agronomic characterization were evaluated. The contents of Dry Matter (DM), Organic Matter (OM), Mineral Matter (MM), Crude Protein (CP), Neutral Detergen Fiber (NDF) and Fiber in Acid Detergent
